Unfortunately the gear you can buy at the AH is pretty much shit. All of the good epic gear is bind on pick up.

That will only get you some fairly okay gear.
If you want the good stuff you need to get down in MC and get dirty.

All Warcraft games kick ass IMHO and yes EXTREMELY addicting to say the least. I haven't bought WOW yet ......just for the reasons everyone is stating above, I'd never get any work done LOL

I agree to a point, but I also have a ton of purple and blue gear just from buying at AH, my Weapon is Kang the Decapitator, been using it from level 44 to 48 (just turned, i am a warrior)

Oh yeah, at that point in the game, the AH is totally sufficient. For the end-game gear however, if you wear AH stuff, you'll get your ass kicked (which pretty much sucks).

It's really good but a total waste of time.

My advice to current players : give or destroy all your items, delete your toons, cancel your account, uninstall the game, destroy the game cd's and serial number, and get back to work.

I'm big into WoW right now and like everyone says it's a total waste of time. What I don't get is how a game that you go to an area, kill the same creatures over and over and over again with a simple combination of attacks, then you sit and have a drink or meal to replenish, then you do it all over again. Once you either get what you need for your quest or level after grinding, you move onto another area and repeat it. It sounds repetative, but it's as addicting as hell. By the way, pretty much all MMORPGs are like that, it's not just WoW.

So Lineage 2 is still good ? I bought it when it first came out and played it for 8 months and enjoyed it, then moved onto something else. That was before all of the chronicles came out, so I'm sure things have changed quite a bit since I played it.
