I cant believe i held offf for years and years.
Love this game, getting into it more and more.
beware the savanah prowler
i *almost* grabbed it this weekend. But then I remembered that I'm already pale enough. Plus I caught the fact that you have to pay monthly for it. Kinda turned me off...
But is it really that fun? I know absolutely nothing about it.

i know i didnt like the monthly fee but i figured what the hell
Quit while your still ahead. Dont get sucked into it. You'll realize once youve spent a good portion of your life to reach a high level that you have to dedicate your entire life to the game if you want to be able to keep up. The game is never ending grinding and it gets rediculously tedious the higher up you get.
I would guess the average player in WOW has at least 30 days of ingame time logged.. thats actual days spent playing the game. The dedicated players will have over 100 days by now and it will get higher
I know for a fact that If I play it, I'ma be addicted... so no way this is getting installed on my computer or anywhere in my house. noooooooo way.

it's a great game, been playing since the beta - yeah you can get addicted, but if you give yourself limits and actually stick to them then it shouldn't represent any problems. I play on my own time only, that's the trick - don't get embroiled in daytime playing if you still want to get work done!
Have fun! It's an interesting game to play for sure, and there's so much you can do!

yah, I set strict time limits for my WOW experiences...
Of course, I sadly plan some weeknights around instance runs...
Luckily, my life revolves around work, my wife and working out.. and my wife works just as much as I do, so she is usually working OT when I am playing WoW

i like this game alot, im already a level 7
if you aren't fond of monthly fees I suggest you try Guild Wars. I haven't played it, as I play Everquest 2, but it gets GREAT reviews and there is no monthly fee.

agreed... when it first came out i played all the time for about 3 months straight.. took a break for a while and now i play maybe an hr or 2 a night.. but its more like a cpl times a week. weekends i some some pvping and try to hit some instances with friends
Yeah WoW is a blast, but if you don't have a couple hours a day to play it, don't even bother buying the game. As you level it takes longer and longer to get to the next level and you run more and more. Shit sometimes it takes you 30mins to get to where you are going before you even really start doing anything.
