and he asked... "do you want the short way, or the long way?"

....yes... please tell me the long way you fucking idiot. what kind of question is that?

I think I prefer simple instructions. Not sure about that simply stuff.

The short way might be easy for someone who is familiar with the area and quite confusing to you.

The long way may be all main roads which will take you longer but confuse you less.

OMG trying to get from Binions to a friends house off of Craig out by The Cannery...well the I-15 is closed down due to oil spill so we take surface streets.

Anyway as I get to a part of N. Las Vegas that's still under development I need to cut back from MLK back to Craig *and I can't god down it another accident * so keep going and I see Mashburn. Mashburn goes by his neighborhood..but doesn't go all the way through..but they don't tell you that until you get like 1/4 the way in and I have to turn around...god damn Mother Fucking street sign people.

So I now have to go all the way around to another street that goes through get halfway through it and it's blocked but the detour sign had been knocked down.

So I have to go backtrack againd..then head back south again to mashburn and I get to Losee...but Losee even though it's an intersection with a light has no sign so I go right past it...now mind you I'm out in the developing part of Vegas so hardly any lights or landmarks.

So now I have to backtrack for a third time back to Losee and as I'm driving down Losee I see a dirt street for a development that will begin probably sometime 2-3 months from now. A street that essentially goes nowhere...but it has a sign.

Sure, a sign put in place for a street that does not exist that leads to houses that have not been built for people who are not going there

My shortcut ended up being a monster cluster fuck...LOL

this was in the boonies.... there was no real "town"

just main roads and everyone lived a mile apart... i'm sure it wouldn't have been too confusing

Haha, I remember trying to get home one night from a side street area from around Buffalo and Sahara, but one didn't go through and one you couldn't turn around ... fucking Vegas. Gotta love and hate it at the same time. I go there and don't drive, the only way to have fun. ; )
