surprisingly i notice there are programs using Cogentco for hosting. where's their hosting site with prices - i'm curious to see what they charge directly.

from what i've seen in the last 6-8 months w/ a couple friends largish sites, cogentco bw isn't all that terrible these days... a couple peeps are knowingly running off cogentco pipes and don't really have anything bad to say about them as of late. maybe they aren't the horribly peered mess they used to be these days? dunno, but some are enjoying really decent pricing bt relying on them for heavy bw sites..

From what ive heard and read, Cogent has been doing good lately than before.
some adult programs use their bw, and gals too. simply because they're cheap.
try moving some of your gals to their network and see.
there's a lot of cogent resellers here

I am located in Maryland (Cogent has a main colocation datacenter in Baltimore) and they offered me a full rack (45u) plus power (40 amps) plus a full 100MBPS up/down connection with Savvis failover for $2200.00 per month.
They don't offer any admin (strict colo) however they do allow for 24/7 access to facility.
