Well, yeah. But sometimes you oversleep. Sometimes you wake up feeling shitty. I dunno. You're right. I hate sleep, but we fucking need it. It's like the female race

Mental Note: People on GFY have trouble with the whole "ordered list" concept.....

All good tips. Which I use.

Tip #1: Keep a clean workstation
Tip #2: Set and keep a real work schedule
Tip #3: Keep yourself marked as "invisible" on ICQ
Tip #4: make a list first thing in the morning of what you want to get done by the end of the day.
Tip #5: Stay off of GFY
Tip #6: Sit with good posture and stretch regularly.
Tip #7: Have everything you need to work, near your workstation so you don't keep having to get up and come back... will lower the chances of you getting distracted and starting to do something else
Tip #8: When you sleep. Get a good night's rest. If possible, keep a regular work and sleep schedule.
Tip #9: When scheduling out your day, and workload. Make a scheduled block for IM's, e-mail, phone calls, etc. Nothing will ruin your groove like getting caught up on a 30-60 minute phone call. If you are running ahead of schedule, then fine. Otherwise, stick to gameplan.
Tip #10: Make sure you take your breaks, and lunches. If possible. Leave your office (home or otherwise) for lunch, and get away from the computer. Then you will be more refreshed.
Tip #11: Plan out your morning, day, week, month on what you want to accomplish. Make it realistic on what you can do in 8/10/12/18 hours. If you are running ahead, reward yourself, get out, take time for yourself. Do not push on to the next day's tasks. Doing this will burn you out in no time.

Tip #12: Listen to some music while working, it usually gets me more effective and makes things less boring.
2htip #13: Don't be afraid to commence a new project when the inspiration strikes, even if it means setting something else aside for a few hours. You may never have the vision as clearly as in those first few moments
Tip #14: Don't start 300 projects at once
Tip #15: Smoke weed daily. (Chase's note: I suppose it works for some, but I won't get out of bed if I do that, lol)
Tip #16: Get dressed as if you were going to an office, if you work from home. It puts you in a "work" frame of mind, plus you are ready for anything that comes up.

Tip #17: Do productivity checks: Every few hours ask yourself if what you're doing is a productive use of your time. If not, STOP doing it!
