anyone have a sony vaio?
what software do these notebooks use to configure wireless connections?
trying to help a mate over the phone and can't find anything about the software used for these any help much appreciated

The software (drivers) that came with the wireless NIC he has, if needed. Some operating systems, eg. Windows XP, may have drivers for the card already and not need any separate software. Basically, tell your mate to RTFM.
