1980's metal band list...

So I have this stupid game going on with my friend (who is still a die hard metal fan) for a while now. It started with simple bands like Poison or Motley Crue and sometimes goes into obscurity with bands like Crimson Glory, Cacophony and Racer X.

The idea was to have the last word. He calls me out of the blue, says a band name we have yet named and if I don't come up with one back, I owe him a beer next time we go out.

If I slam him back with a name, he must buy unless he can turn it back to me with another band... and so on.

I'm now out of bands. Can you help? If you know of any metal bands, please list them here. The band must be signed and have at least ONE album out. It can also be a solo artist that was famous at that time like Stu Hamm or Richie Kotzen

after seeing Ministry, Cannibal corpse, Suicidal Tendencies and Venom in this thread...I dont know what hair metal is anymore LOL

Venom is more like black metal...Cannibal Corpse...death metal...sure they have long hair...but so does every decent metal band! doesnt mean its hair metal...

and ministry? more like industrial....Suicidal tendencies is definitl punk
