Look up (Post #141) :winkwink: |
By whatever passes for standards in this industry, the Bikini Babes site (and the advertising material it offers affiliates) seems remarkably restrained. I couldn't find anything which openly suggested the girls get nude or are porn stars. On the contrary, it is stressed over and over that these are bikini models, posing in swimwear.
I hate this kind of thread, not just because it brings out the worst in a lot of posters and serves as a reminder of how many clowns this industry attracts, but mainly because once this thread has become yesterday's news, we are left with more questions than answers. Chris Mallick's response suggests that the people running Dollars4Babes are dishonest, but there is enough fluff in his post to make it difficult to decide whether that is true and he made a professional decision, or whether he is covering for letting his personal whims take over. We have no idea whether the releases really were doctored, because as usual no-one took the simple route, which in this case would have been to show us the before and after. We get instead the routine cop-out of "pending legal action"... It is possible but seems unlikely, that if a sponsor had altered releases he would knowingly send them to someone with access to the originals. That thought gives rise to wondering whether D4B was unaware of any problem and therefore that any alterations were made by the content provider. Yet no-one seems to be getting very energized about him. Odd. It doesn't surprise me that someone who has acted, in - let's say - a "less than professional" manner, should be keen to muddy up the issues in threads like this. What always baffles me is that - assuming anyone involved is squeaky clean - they too never seem to provide what it would take to make that clear. Inevitably we end up with doubts about the professionalism and/or honesty of everyone involved, with the choice of either sucking it up and hoping any such shortcomings never impact on us, or taking the safe route and crossing everyone off the "good people to work with" list. I don't mind making these decisions as such, but having to make them based on drama threads like this gets really old. |

also when a thread like this get serious it does get dropped off the board and teken to the next level which normally legal action or resolved behind the scenes. either way its a drama board and pissing match I rarely see any real biz take place on the board. its done off the boards Bottom line the boards give you branding and can either work for you or against you but will never effect a company directly:2 cents: |

One more reason that I pull all my money out fast as it is put in/.

True that was my opinion LOL :1orglaugh it was brought to the board so I have the right to post whatever I fuckin want just like you.. this is why I dont talk shit or bring my personal or real biz to the boards its just a place to bullshit and pass time while you keep your branding out there. and yes I will defend myself or anyone on the board I do biz with all the time but you will never see me start it..:thumbsup people forget the thread the next day unless they take it personal and cant shake it off which sometimes happens thats something you learn to get over with experience and time. |
Quote:
funny,a lot of this board is a whos who of who you have and havent fucked..how is that not personal? |

thats out of fun and most of the time just for views just like your post right now. I bet you dont have a real clue though about my real personal life aside from my business life which are not the same. do you know how much I make or what I own or how many kids I have or if I'm married or not? if so take a shot. Hell most of the people on the board are anons and fake. I've met you before you talk more shit on the board then off which persona should I measure you by? BTW this thread is gettig mad sig view :thumbsup |

I can seperate buisness from bullshit because at the end of the day, only one can make me money. If someone chooses not to do buisness with me because of something I have posted in the past I cant hold it against them, they reserve that right at any time.I never make excuses for anything I say in real life nor on the boards because im some aspects,we are what we post. All im simply saying is you post a lot of personal shit on the board and sometimes people put their emotions before looking at the facts of any situation.I have been blessed enough to be able to be able to generate my own income without fear of holding back my opinions on things...everything I say is exactly that,my opinion:2 cents: |

Oh well thats business you cant make everyone happy if you did you would be the only one makeing money.. some might do biz with you or not for whatever reason who cares.. Me personally even if I hate someone which there are a few in the biz but I still do biz with them its about business if they can make me more $$$ then great. on the other hand I'm best friends with a few in the biz and we dont do biz for whatever reasons.. people are always going to bitch and complain no matter what. but rarely do people praise. there are tons of boards out there that is why GFY does so well is based on drama hense the name GFY |

damn I love my life:pimp but Leslie is still a good friend as you know. Money truely buys happiness my looks only get me so far:winkwink: |

Actually, our decision not to open an account with them has nothing to do with the complaints, drama or "lack of praise" (I could care less, as all situations are different). I usually base my decisions on how the company in question handles the situation, which IMO has been somewhat lacking thusfar. To make a statement that "threads like this don't actually affect the company" is sheer lunacy. The truth is, you have no idea how this is affecting others who read this and are still in the process of deciding whether or not to do business with epassporte. Business is business, which means that (at least in mainstream) it is a game of alliances and calculated risk where reliability and reputation are key if you want to be successful; not just doing business with anyone that can make you a buck. :2 cents: |

1.) I don't have anything to do with AGV (other than being an affiliate). I put them in my sig because I felt like it (not that any of that is any of your business); if Reak wants me to pull it from my sig, all he has to do is ask. 2.) I could care less what traffic you pull. I don't care if you are the biggest of the bigshots in this industry, because as of right now you mean absolutely dick (as in ZERO) to myself or my company. If you want to pull your traffic from every company I am an affiliate of, go ahead, I'll even give you a list...... but you won't, because you need them a helluva lot more than they need you. If you feel that I am wrong, then prove me wrong. 3.) I am not debating with you, I am stating my opinion (there is a difference) . Also, just for my own curiosity, what the hell does owning sites have to do with business sense? If you want to know about my qualifications to "debate" this subject with you, I have an MBA from the Red McCombs Business School at the University of Texas, so I fell comfortable that I know something about how business works. I apologize if you took offense to any of this as there was no emotion involved in the writing of this response, only fact or opinion. Also, this reflects on me and me alone, AGV nor anyone else has anything to do with this response. |

I was just trying to figure out who I'm talking to is all. I like to know who I'm dealing with for many reasons when communicating online and dont know who you are. also I'm old school Respect is earned not my posts but by performance in the industry. I am far from being a big shot and I'm just a tadpole in this industry. also dont take my smart remarks personal I'm just goofing off to be honest I will have forgot and moved on from this thread soon as it hits the 2 page on GFY. |

I was just wondering since we do alot of business through epassporte. I didnt understand where he was coming from thought he work for you or was a partner by his post. I'm really over this thread and need to get back to work:winkwink: I just love the drama myself sometimes:1orglaugh And yes this is also A handle i use as I let many in the company its open to anyone actually as long as the sig remains |
aaaawh how sweet everyone seems to have kissed and made up :thumbsup

It's amazing that folks who may be normally OK and of sane mind end up posting such utter crap and a company engaged in punting electron cards and taking cuts in moneyflows end up posting still more crap about their employee who may, or may not, have a legitimate point.
Note on wipey board: Avoid dealing with people who forget what their business is and can't distinguish between business and personal/welfare/legal concerns - also photographers infatuated by the flesh they shoot and garbling on about "friendship". "Professionalism" is severely lacking all round. |
not so good....

bump for you Aza. you guys are great people! goodluck for your epass account. im sure you just want this for your affiliates. :thumbsup |
This is quite a sticky situation, especially knowing the people at ePassporte and Leslie as well. With this being said, I don't know if there was a license for the images or not, but epassporte does have the right to refuse business to anyone for any reason. I really do hope all three parties can resolve this matter.

Some advise to chicks that don't want bikini/nude/hardcore pics of them on the internet or in any form of publication.
DO NOT GET POSE FOR BIKINI/NUDE/HARDCORE PICS! EVER!!!! Pretty simple. |

Actually, legally, unless the model release specifies exactly where the photos can be used, if it's a general release, it doesn't matter where the girl was TOLD the photos would go, they belong to the person who shot them and is the other party of the release. She legally wouldn't have a leg to stand on, and it would be her own fault for not reading the release properly. Her ONLY recourse would be to sue the person who shot the content and prove in some way that she was under "duress" to sign the document (mentally incompetant, on drugs or alcohol, etc), and to have the document nullified in a court of law. What a load of bullshit, Epass, grow the fuck up. |
>> in all honesty i dont see what the big deal is about taking down her pictures....its not she is the ONLY hot model on the site.
those sets are allover the net anyways what diff does it make if one site takes them down? |
Lots of fun.

How many dudes does this chick have whipped lol.

none of those other sites seem to be asking for a epass account. |

I'm sure if this site pulled the images as requested it would help rectify the problem, but its not something the site owner(s) are doing. WG |

I HIGHLY doubt this girl signed anything but a standard model release which gave the photographer the right to do whatever he/she wanted to do with the photos. Let the model produce any correspondence she had with the photographer limiting the usage of the content to ONE calendar - let her produce the model release that she says has been altered. |

Interesting.
Leslie's "friends" have one opinion. Her "non-friends" have the opposite opinion. Bias anyone? |
only in the adult industry
lol |
Quote:
Amen! I don't see anywhere that says she's in adult, a pornstar, or a monkey's uncle's sister. And the original poster said the model release says nothing about special circumstances. I'm sure that if it did they'd have removed the content. And probably would have if ePassporte had simply asked nicely with respect, instead of demanding. Egos do very very bad things to businesses. WISHING a special model release had been signed (after the fact) does not make it so. |
So let me get this right.
Dean Shoots model for client A and then uses other portions of content for Client B. Client A discovered the model aka Introduced Model to Dean and never intended said content to be used for anything else. Dean then releases content to Client B? Client A Epassporte is like WTF? Client B is like WTF? Who is the scum bag? Looks like Dean is in some deep shit. |
