    Is there any downloads that I can get to upgrade my cdrom to cd burner?

    haha, been reading Yahoo answers for the past half an hour or so, some of the PC hardware realted questions:

    Is there any downloads that I can get to upgrade my cdrom to cd burner?

    what is the best & fastest processor for my cpu? And how much does it cost? my cpu is intel pentium 4 1gb.?

    mother board hang up in windows Xp ? is it virus problem or moherboard heat up?

    Recently my computer was sick and I now have no sound Help?

                  My friend was a tech support for Bell's isp (sympatico) in Canada. Once a lady called and said she bought the starter kit but it didn't work.

                  The convo was something like that :

                  Friend : Ok Put the cd in the drive
                  Dumb lady : Ok
                  Friend : What happens
                  Dumb lady : What do you mean what happens ? nothing
                  Friend : Well what is happening on your computer screen ?
                  Dumb lady : Wich computer screen ? You never said I had to have a computer to have the internet

                  then she proceeded to bitch and call them a scam.

                      haha, she can probably sue them and I wouldn't be surprised if she wins the case: "You told me that I can get the Internet for $29.95 per month and now you're telling me that I have to buy a computer for 700 bucks?"

                          Even as far as we've come it's hard to rememeber that the vast majority of the people out there are pretty much computer illiterate.
                          I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

                                      It's not as crazy as it sounds.
                                      I do remember one firmware patch that would do this....
