All exist payout deals remain exactly as they are (volume based higher revshare percentages).. this would be absolutely a 100% bonus.

A bonus or a prize is only worth what people THINK it is worth to them - it's the basic rule of economics.

I know what I need maths wise, but I want to see what people think it is worth in their minds because it's pointless running a promo that people see no value in.

If people's ideas of a fair number matches my math, then we are good to go.

Maybe do one as an all inclusive (Airfare/hotel/guide) and another one if the person sends maybe half or more of the joins for the all inclusive trip - cover part of the trip - like either air or hotel.

Seriously, 2 airfares incoming international and internal, nice hotels (with internet of course !!) for a week + and a few tour things here and there (Harbor Bridge Climb in Sydney, Ayers Rock Climb, Diving on the reef etc etc) is some serious dollars......

Mate, I would see it as being whoever reached the magic number within the alloted time - do not see any reason for restrictions.

I would do it airfares/transport/accomodation for 2 people for a couple of reasons:

1. People have partners

2. Having people pay for the 2nd person actually penalizes them for winning because what they have to pay to bring a 2nd person is not cheap

3. It gives the opportunity for 2 people to "team up" to make the numbers.

That's the way I see it, and as the person who'd be the tour guide, that's the way I'd want it.

To keep it simple let's ignore the best and worst case scenarios..the affilate could hit you hard for six months and drop you the next day or he could keep that volume up for years.

So round numbers...each join is worth an average of $100 to you and the trip costs $10,000 (I am assuming coach class fare as you didn't mention details)

100 joins break even
1000 joins = 10% bonus

so ummm..somewhere in between those two

Nah mate, I want this purely performance based - we have other competitions and promos and rewards for all affiliates, this is meant to be designed for the select few.

Not only then will they enjoy a sensational holiday, but bringing bigger players together (anticipating that several qualify) means some serious business can be achieved as well.

A LARGE added benefit, bydesign,. not accident.

More like 1000 than 100, REMEMBER, we are still paying them full ride on normal terms for the joins, so your math on break even is totally incorrect by definition, but the $10k per cost mark is about right...

And we have look at exactly what you say and assume the affiliate MAY drop us (bad business to plan for the best case) - but if they did keep sending we would likewise reward the following period ... cash even maybe ...

I would see economy fares on airline of their choice which they can upgrade if they like - business class doubles the costs .....

BEAR IN MIND THIS IS ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT THEY WOULD EARN SENDING JOINS TO THE PROGRAM - THEY STILL RECEIVE ALL OF THAT !!!

Doing it this way also means there is no limit on how many can qualify...

That way it really is not out of reach and the final group would be larger, which would be more fun !

And like I've said, have done that, but won't run a promo if the numbers are not considered fair and conditions are not extraneous.
