Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed. |

Do Canadians get 1099 misc froms from US companies?
I'm starting to get my tax papers ready, before hitting the accountants office.
Just wondering, do Canadian webmasters (or anyother country) get 1099 misc froms from US sponsors? Or do US companies just send 1099 misc forms to US contractors with a US social security number or US tax ID? |

Honestly very few even send them to US people.
That is why it is important to record all your stubs and payments then just report it all yourself.

There is no legal obligation or requirement to send to Canadian companies so long as the services are performed outside of the US.
