Which story are they doing, though? I got stuck halfway through SH:4: The Room. It got too frustrating once my room started getting haunted. It stressed me out.

guess it's just me.

From the trailer, im just happy it's not another zombie movie. like. night of the living zombie, and day of the zombie, or doom zombie, or resident zombie or.... etc.

looks like they kept the alternative dimention creepy odd shit from the games.

and from the trailer, it looks like some of the creepy ass atmosphere.

sh4 had the coolest storyline, but even the maker said "we suck, and fucked up on the game"

Silent hill is truly fucking creepy, and I don't creep out much.

the games are more fun watching, then playing. shitty controlls, but creepy like nothing else.

the movie looks to be like SH2. except a woman instead of a man, and etc.

i expect a stupid happy ending, but from the trailer, i expect to be creeped out. seems they took a lot of queues from the games.

Well every game 1-3 involves the hospital, prison, school, and alternate world settings. I like how they kept the mist effect in the streets. I'm wondering how good the demons look on the big screen though.

Wow, all I can is that the trailer looks incredibly well done, good clean camera work (none of that shaky camera action), the CGI (what you can see of it) looks to be well blended, it does seem to empress upon the viewer that same darkly vivid mood that the video games exhibited, the cinematography looks simply insane and really gives off that same edgy vibe that the games are so notorious for, and all in all, I'm excited to see it and can only hope that this trailer isn't some glorified eye candy.

No Christophe Gans does, he did "Brotherhood of the Wolf" and "Necronomicon: Book of the Dead", if you haven't seen either of these films you're missing out.
