You are right, it can be a pain, however I am very careful. If I go to a bar where I am drinking, I carry my little elph (if anything).

I take the big gun for things like the canopy tour. I also love to shoot surfing, so I will do that as well.

But no, I am too scared of something happening to carry it all the time, etc.

That looks like a great camera.

The problem with the 20d is the lenses you need for good landscape shots are very expensive.

For landscape, yes, I think you need the 10-22, that is around $800.

Nikon just released a 10MP for less than 2k.

Things are moving so fast.

But anything over 6 is really good if you ask me. You can do some pretty tight crops and blow them up nicely.
