Backlinks: All the links pointing at a particular web page. Also called inbound links.

You wont get any SE traffic with that. You need to learn about external/internal link managemnet.

So should I start cutting my links and looking for pages that are PR2 and above? I've been told by a lot of people that Google doesn't even go by PR anymore and that it is going to be a relic soon

Yes. Only trade links with quality sites that have big PR/few outbound links.

Those people are dumb. Do a search for any good keywords and check what PR the top 10 sites have.

Just traffic wise. It converts but only when I can get some decent traffic. When I say convert I mean I get a sale for about every 2000 visitors

If you want some honest truth read on.

What makes your website unique? It looks like all the other sites out there using blogs to promote adult sites. It's just as boring as those. You can either wait and hope the search engines find you, or make something unique that people want to link to. My blog is a PR5 because I write things that many people want to read. And even though it's adult in nature I've had links on mainstream sites.

So in other words: write something people want to read, or go back to being a TGP.

I'm not being harsh here, just giving my honest opinions.

Backlinks aren't the problem here. I have another site that has only been live for a couple months and has no backlinks but gets over 100 Google hits a day. Google is still listing over 100 links that don't exist on my site. Something is really wrong. All my content is original. I don't copy anything from livejasmin I retype everything and add my own review. I have tons of original articles. Their is something more going on here. I think I made a big mistake when I deleted the site
