You can't post links to other boards. It's against the gfy rules.

Certain boards ya. If(when) GFY starts a seo forum they might care.

For now, Playboy probably doesn't care.

No offense, but i think seo contests are a joke.

all it does it get good rankings for them with little costs. I didnt check it out, but i assume like 99.9% of other "contests" its the same thing... "Get a top google ranking for mywebsite.com for the following lists of keywords and win a prize!"

this is just a way for a lot of companies to get out of paying a lot of money for a expensive service.

the only "real" contest i have seen is about a year ago. you reg'd a brand new domain and had a list of keywords to be ranked for and who ever got the highest ranking won a few bucks.

people do this all the time... yeah it is a joke to people who take this profession serioiusly, but heh, im jealous i didnt thikn of it first

Anyone who can get #1 spot for any arbitrary keyword would laugh at the $5k prize...

I doubt they are doing it for the sake of keyword optimization. After all, their keyword is pretty obscure: "v7ndotcom elursrebmem"

Well, compared to adult keywords, their keyphrase is pretty easy: "v7ndotcom elursrebmem"

Only a few people are going to participate in the contest, so it shouldn't be hard at all. $4k is a nice bonus for someone who knows what he's doing.

That is how most contests are.

but for the keyphrase "v7ndotcom elursrebmem" would probably be pretty simple

Believe me, its way more than "a few" people participating.

What I meant to say is that there will probably be 500-1000 participants.
It's still way less than any number of participants for any decent adult related keyphrase.

Not really, I can make 4k faster from an actual client.
