The sad thing is, she took the time to show up, get naked and be photograph'd, only to have you (as the photographer) publically label her as "an ugly skank".

Whether or not she's the prettiest apple on the tree, I don't think anything justifies publically demeaning and humiliating her like that. Its extremely callous and unprofessional in my books.

This is one of those times where discretion should be the better part of valor.

As I said above, I think she has the potential to be quite a good model. Any good and talented photographer can see the diamond in the rough there. All that remains is whether you're up for the challenge of the task, or merely content to publically denegrate her instead.

Ive seen worse, shes shoot-able.

You could land a jumbo jet on her forehead, but besides that I think she'd clean up well.

Besides, I was just tryin' to illustrate her potential with a little makeup and TLC.

Made her hair grow with the chia pet tool in 'chop...

Actually, it was a fair number of overall tweaks. First I even'd out the skintones, fix'd the blemishes, etc. Then added the makeup (eyeliner, mascara), added eyelashes, reshaped the eyebrows just a smudge, whitened her teeth and added lip gloss highlights. Extended the hairline a little, and then added a slight median noise diffusion overall, retouched the detail areas, fixed the white balance and brightened things a bit.

Took about 10 mins.

Very hittable... not ugly at all. ;)

But you DO have a point. We worked with a model one time where I had to do that much work on almost every one of her shots. The end result was good...but it was hella work.

I would like to apologise for my remark about this model, at the time of writing that post i had by that time had a few drinks, no excuse and i do apologise for the way that i disrespected her, it was totally unprofessional of me to do so, i will get her back and do a shoot and see how she comes up.

If you were smart, took some great photos and good makeup you could make some money with her.
