I'd like to know what you come up with.. In the last couple weeks I've signed up to 6-8 programs that have solo girls.. Haven't started to promote them yet because in that time we've had 1 girl "fake" her death, another did die.. another had her site come back after having been closed before (at least I think it was closed) and now Arika is forcing her site to be shut down (didn't she previously say she was going to keep her site going? Did she actually end up paying everyone?). Most solo girls seem to end up being a problem.

From my perspective (which means nothing) they are divorced, they want nothing to do with each other. If he gave her the domain, the site would probably stay up (unless she just wants out of the biz). If he keeps it - he cant do anything with it, but it fucks her up = revenge, but it also fucks the affiliates.

just remove your links and be done with it. if she does return you can decided then if you want to do biz with her. otherwise, who fucking cares? shit happens

OK, I just got home and have been directed to this thread.

First of all I did not want this issue to make it to the boards. Second, her lawyer asked that the site be shut down by her request. I was ordered by the Judge to shut the site down as soon as possible since I did not object to her wishes of wanting it shut down. The site without her participation is worthless, and my understanding based on her lawyers statements were that she no longer intends to be a part of the site nor wants the content to be continued to be used in any capacity.

Hope that clears that up, and I would prefer not to continue on discussing the matter on GFY other than to say that the join page was specifically defined and ordered to be removed on the 12th. of January. If there was a way to shut the site down without removing the join page to insure no one would lose any time or money, someone please clue me in on how to do so.

Arika will be single again very soon and that alone is worth the pain. She has already expressed her unhappiness with the dude she hooked up with. He is just holding on for as long as possible. She is also too nice to dump him so quickly. Get ready!

I would wait for your chance to ask her out on a date. Once you get to know her, you might understand what is going on and maybe you will not be so critical of her decisions.

Here is my take on the whole thing. This e-mail was unexpected to me and was a surprise when I woke up this morning...

Shutting down the site was not court ordered. It was an agreement made between the parties involved.
Pulling join pages on the 15th is not court ordered. I agreed to give affiliates 30-45 days notice so they could pull their links down, NOT two days notice and join pages coming down tomorrow. Bill has taken that upon himself to do.

I apologize to all of the affiliates. I asked for the 30-45 days. Unfortunately I can't control if Bill decides to pull the join pages down.
My e-mail to the affiliates was going to go out on Monday, I didn't want to send anything out over the weekend. I was under the impression that Bill was done with the site, he has stated it many times. So for this e-mail to go out was very unexpected to both me and my affiliates.
Again I apologize to all the affiliates. This is not what was supposed to happen. I was under the impression everyone would have 30-45 days.

lucky for me i have a good judge of character and decided i would never promote her site. when she first opened up she was offering 50% with the affiliates paying processing. i called her on it and she pretty much said that if i didnt like that she didnt need my traffic.

I'd have told you the same thing. My hosting, my costs to pay models. My costs for design. I think that entitles me to a true 50% partnership with you. True partners split everything, including the processing.

An e-mail went out to all affiliates at 3:22 am this morning. I did not authorize this e-mail nor was it what I asked for in court.

Donny gets 50% of 10,000 customers while the run of the mill partner gets 50% of 100 customers. Not too complicated.

It sucks that he has to deal with this bullshit, but that's the nature of divorce. It sucks. And in this case, they've involved a lot more people than most couples going through a divorce would have to.

It just seems to me like someone is lying here and from the looks of things and the stories we've heard...I can't seem to figure out who. Wrong. It was not court ordered, it was an agreement. The site was up for almost 2 years. Situations happened and it was a great experience, but it is time for it to be over with.
