Why? Because you don't fuck around with the Feds. If you are stupid enough to go to trial against our government, you have less than a 5% chance of winning. And if you win, the government will be on your ass until you are six feet under. Just ask some of the famous hackers who tried to fight the government. They all eventually settled.

Plus, we are talking about a porn dumbass. Why would he want to get involved with American servicemen/women.

You guys are probably doing the same thing he did, and if you are, I hope they throw all of you in jail.

Everyone involved should be prosecuted, including the stupid ass USA servicemen/women.

Wo, lemme get this straight.

Dude had a site with pics of war victims and active military in adult shots?

That's freakin' weird. Yet I get emails from cop friends of mine and military going all into detail about the grisly shit going on in Iraq.

I have no idea what he had on his site that caused all this ruckus but it sounds like he had unique stuff that was way overboard and pushed the wrong buttons.

I do editorial cartoons on my site. I've been an editorial cartoonist for going on 30 years. I did one a few years ago where it had Saddam Hussein getting plowed into an underground bunker where Satan was sitting there watching CNN. That toon appeared on websites and newspapers around the world. Lo and behold a year later they found Hussein in an underground bunker!

I've worked with major media and news for decades. I've seen politically criminal shit like no tomorrow and had to leave the mainstream because of it.

Our birthrights, yes, our Constitutional rights are clear. Especially 'Freedom from fear of Government'. When's the last time you WEREN'T afraid of our government? That's the bottom line. When one, just one of your birthrights is violated, ALL of them have become violated and that covenant between government and citizen have become invalidated. Yet people won't fight for their rights because they don't want to rock the boat. Can't risk those mortgage payments because 98% of the population is just one major illness or lawsuit from the poor house. That's a lot of leverage to an oppressive force using government or color of authority to do harm.

Never in American history has government and industry had so much power to control, invade the citizenry. I hate to make the analogy but it's like the last Star Wars movie where they fucked up and let Palpatine have control of the government and when it was too late they all got fucked.

Scary.

Latest update . . .

Porn Site Owner Gets 5 Years Probation

BARTOW, Fla. -- A man who ran a pornographic Web site that included grisly photographs of war dead taken by U.S. troops was sentenced Friday to five years' probation, his attorney said.

Chris Wilson, 28, a former Eagle Lake police officer, pleaded no contest in January to five misdemeanor charges of possession of obscene materials. The state dismissed 296 other similar charges.

Wilson's Web site gave soldiers free access to pornography in exchange for posting pictures from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. Polk County sheriff's officials said Wilson's arrest in October stemmed from the site's sexually explicit content, not the pictures of war dead.

"He agreed to stay out of the adult Web site business for the term of his probation," defense attorney Larry Walters said.

Though the Web site launched a Pentagon investigation into how war zone photos of charred and dismembered bodies described as victims of U.S. attacks could have surfaced, military investigators did not pursue criminal charges against Wilson.

Second I have nothing against Mr Walters other than his being an attorney of course...and I have nothing against capitalism but a capitalist is what he is. While I don't expect him to work for free I would like to see a tad of pro bono work on his part when a win would be hugely beneficial to everyone in the industry he defends...of course if he did that then he wouldnt make money cuz he wouldnt have to defend us right?

Lets be careful when we practically canonize an attorney here...

We really don't know the details here. So far they are private. Mr. Walters is in business to make $$ no doubt. The legal team in this case pulled out all the stops in defense of Chris and the industry from my lay point of view. So Chris may still owe a hefty sum to the law firm? Or maybe they gave him a deal? Mr. Walters does appear to be very passionate about the cause.

My question to Chris is where do you stand on the legal bills? Whether you answer that personal question is up to you. Do you still need legal financial help? I understand that you may have some opportunities the might make some decent bucks for ya.

Count me as one that is interested in hearing more details that went on behind the scenes.
