    What is a good life expectancy for a program?

    10 years? 5??

    I know some of the big boys from back in the day are not on top anymore....
    Do programs simply run their course just to be replaced by new programs?

    because affiliates just get a fresh program every 3 months or so?

    Are there any programs you have been religiously promoting for 5+ years?

    any views?

      good question...i think alot of programs just don't change with the times, they dont feel like they have to do anything extra to get new affiliates or they just are comfortable with the ones they have.

      the more successful ones stay on top of the times with constant fresh content and promotional tools

              A well managed program can be around forever. Alot of programs are small companies that dont know how to plan for the future.

              The worst is most program owners that shut down dont even tell you. It happen to 4 companies i have used in the past year. Even the bigger ones.

              This is the main reason i have a way to pull all the links off for a dead site pretty fast.

                          ARS probably isn't, neither is MaxCash or CE (although they are so big anyway it was probably only a small drop, with a new affiliate site they could be ultra massive again).

                          but TCG and SilverCash are still absolutely huge. Probably both in the top 5
