No shit! For some strange reason, people just seem to try and ignore the Devils or something. I think maybe me and you are the only Devil fans. I think most people do not really care for the Devils because they are not a high scoring offensively minded team. Oh, well. I prefer defence. I am a die hard Buccaneers fan as well.

They looked young and healthy tonight, though. They ruled the flyers all night and the Devils were not even on top of their puck control.

I was not too thrilled over the trades myself. I hated to see Mogilny and Arnott go. They do need to get some young guns. Gomez came on so strong his first year I was all excited about him but, damn, did he fizzle out or what.

It was practically a done deal, they were going to trade Danny Markov and Nik Antropov for him.. Philly said they thought Markov had a bad back, and wanted Kaberle instead, claiming they are on the same skill level.. Leafs turned it down, because they wanted to keep Kaberle.

It was VERY close to being done though, the Leafs thought it was done, they didn't dress Antropov or Markov for that nights game when they thought they had a deal..

Too bad, would have been nice to have seen #88 in a Leaf uniform. It may happen yet, I'm not sure how many years he has left in his contract in NY :thumbsup

Uh oh.. Detroit down 2-0 to Vancouver.. it seems the favorite that EVERYONE picked to win the Cup might be one game from losing the series (I doubt they'd ever come back from 3-0)..

Should be VERY interesting! :) New Jersey down 2-0 too, and Carolina even outshot them tonight. Last game NJ outshot them by like 15..

Detroit might not make it past the first round, NY Rangers didn't even make the playoffs, proves that big market teams with lots of money are NOT guaranteed to win shit in hockey (unlike baseball, basketball, football, etc)
