According to you: What do you have to see atleast once in a lifetime!
For me personally: it's tracking through the jungle is really something you must have done at least once, it's such a unique experience. I'm not talking about the one hour trips on a elephant walking next to a river.
I've done a trip in the jungle started in Chiang Mai (Thailand) and then through Laos, it was a 5 day trip meeting local people who havent seen a tourist in years. I've slept in wooden houses, met people who didn't know a watch, childern who had to walk 10 kilometers (twice) daily to reach school and a village running after a chicken to kill him for dinner. They entertained themselves making campfires, playing guitare, swiming in the river, getting fruits from the trees, playing soccer with a wooden ball and smoking weed pipes because that grows up on the mountain.
I did the this trip a few years back and it's still fresh in my memory. No luxery, Fresh foods, Very kind people, Cold water or a river to shower in. It makes you appreciate what you have a home, your safe home, your snackbar around the corner and the large couch to feel comfertable watching some television
For me this really was something you need to see once in a life time.
