Then........ the whole Low Carbs/Atkins thing hit and Krispy Kreme looked like downtown Pnomh Penh during the Khmer Rouge days. Desolate.

I used to live a block away. Some friends and i thought we would get there at 6 am and beat the crowd. Boy were we wrong.

forget it. papa johns went out of biz in my town... twice. krispy cream just closed shop. you'll need to see what you can afford considering you'll need atleast $250k(min) to open 1 location and often have to commit to opening 2-3 locations as the franchises are often sold in regions

True. They are also a better value--you get more for the same amount of money than at KFC. :2 cents:

they also keep releasing different things, like jalapeno bombers (crab extremers)

KFC doesn't ever switch anything up.. they've been the same for the last 30 years

You have to open a Dominos in either a cheap or college based area.

Dominos is not known for high quality. But for low price.

I'd still like to know what those "secret spices" are for the KFC Original Recipe. A buddy of mine worked at KFC and stores just get the batter mix pre-made. There's quite a few fake recipes floating around on the Net... one even mentions potassium chloride as an ingredient :Oh crap :helpme

A long, long time ago I worked for a chemical company and you'd be surprised what you put in your body that is actually toxic. When ppl used to complain about the toxicity of products we sold I always carried a MSDS for coca-cola which showed it was more toxic than most of the chemicals we sold.

I noticed a recent trend among Latino communities in Southern California... ethnic-themed fastfood. Some do quite well... Pollo Campero is one.
