    HOSTEL comes out tonight! I've been wanting to see this movie for over a month! Quentin Tarantino is a genious! I'll give you my feedbacks tomorrow!

              i can't say im that excited. just seems like some kind of tortore movie. and you just know there are gonna be some 'copycat' retards who think they can lure some travelling young women into hostels and play act the movie.

                      The movie idea came from a website where people would donate themselves to be hunted and murdered in a hostel type setting in Thailand or someplace like that.

                                                                              This was probably one of the movies I most anticipated seeing on the big screen for 2006, only to be once again let down and have this added (already! ) to my biggest letdown movie list of 2006. I thought Eli Roth would have learned a few lessons after the dreadful, 'Cabin Fever' came out a few years back, but apparently not. Frat boys, some beautiful [...] Eastern European women (with the worst accents I have heard! ), basically tell the story of just what guys will do just to get laid and the consequences three friends endure as a result... Formulaic and boring, with only a minimal amount of butchery shown on screen... Why Tarantino is attaching his name to what seems like anything is beyond me... Fans who enjoyed 'Saw' will like this outing, but I'd recommend staying home or seeing 'Wolf Creek' instead.

                                                                                  The only reason Tarrantino's name is attached to this movie is because Elli Roth showed him the Thai website which apparently was for businessmen wishing to pay large sums of money to torture people in a secret location. No one knew for sure if the site was real or spoof. Having said that I too love horror and will definitly go and see this movie. I also love Tarrantino but true enough he has nothing to do with this movie at all.
