I wonder why verotel is so far behind when it comes to providing the tools needed to run a successful affilliate program?

No it does not apply to Verotel PRO. It will eventually only apply to TicketsClub but we are not yet ready to register domains; my guess would be somewhere in the next 3 to 6 months.

DO you check 2257 ID's (or require them at all)?

Asking this because http://www.whatever.com/ used to have CP, and that's why they were canned at ccbill....Now I see you process for them....

Maybe they cleaned their house,,,or????

From the former employees of iBill who vanished right around the time the webmaster revenue cheques did.

you can always put the member area in a backup domain when they get around to doing the registrar thing

vicki 01-14-2006 11:23 AM

Glad to hear you are up and running again, congrats!!

I was quite surprised to learn how many operations have merchant accounts managed by hosting companies etc etc ... IMHO its just not feasible. Who do you go to with questions (like why are we terminated and was I put on the TMF list)? How do you negotiate lower rates when you have increasing volumes?

If you decide at some point you want to try another Merchant Account feel free to hit me up. I'll answer questions you didn't even know you should ask ;)

As for US banking solutions and bdsm, extreme etc - IMHO at the present time you are much better off paying an extra 1-2% (total 5-7%) more for an EU or offshore solution and not have to worry about the volitility of US standards. There is only one US bank still allowing new accounts to have bondage but it must be "non-extreme" .. and that determination is left to the bank underwriter inspecting the site.

As for processors and banks that require you to sign over your domains, believe it or not a few do - buyer beware

As for Ibill, they've opened up more than just one new processing company - buyers REALLY beware!

I used Verotel for quite a while and found them to be OK, but recently I changed to CCBill and the sign ups went up. I suppose more people know and trust CCBill and I think Verotel doesn't look so professional.

Nice, nice :)

Definitely gimme a holler if/when you get here. I'm WAY overdue to get out and find some new UE locations.

Lately I have my eye on Bethlehem Steel across the river, still haven't found the time to check it out.

What is Verotel charging? If you are paying more than 7.69 per cent , you are being ripped off. Ibill has intro rate of 7.69 per cent for new customers, maybe even lower, as they are an up and coming processor.

You're almost too pathetic to be worth the reply. Almost. :)

Just wanted to correct your post as you made a huge typo:

'Up and coming' was meant to be 'dying and thieving' surely?
