Nice looking place!

I'm still looking for the finishing touches for my apartment here in California since moving from Texas. But here's a pic I snapped of my "backyard" this last weekend. It's the view I get looking out my living room and home office. The field is actually as big as a football field.

It's not a mansion, just a comfy sized (942 sq. ft.) 1-bedroom apartment. Rent at $1050 a month. The houses around here start at about $350K and go way up from there.

Yea CA housing is over the top. I am paying $1875 /m for 3B/3bath house in the bayarea. I think it sells about $650/k.

I would kill for that price, Hollywood is almost unbearable if you need something nice.

I did a ten month lease in case I can't stand the $3000 bill each month anymore.

I'm doing mine in old-school-kick-back-and-comfortable style. Here's an early pic, plants not out, art not up, and was taken late at night so the lighting and "backyard" not quite there.
