Taxes in Canada

i live in ontario, canada.

do i have to pay tax for my internet income ?
my sponsors are in usa they send me checks from there and i deposit them in my bank account.
I am worrying about laws. i know that in USA if income is more than 600 $ you have to pay tax but canada what is like that?

Thanks...

Sincerely...

Yes, you at least have to report the income on your tax return.

I think its less then that man, if you actually employ yourself with porn, i think its 7200..... if not and its a partime thing, I think you only have to declare it, if its over 2000

$7200 personal amount or something.
No matter how you make your money you subtract $7200 (yearly) from your income then do the taxes.

Say you earn $20,000 from a job.
Earn $12,000 internet work.

32,000
- 7,200

=24.800 is your income you pay tax on.
It doesn't work out that smooth because deductions and such you can claim.

If your total income in $7,200 or less, you do not pay income tax.
It is illegal to not report your internet money if that money or the internet money + job is over 7,200/year.

If you start cashing 5K checks in the bank every month, and claim nothing from the internet, you are sortive fucked.

smart idea to file a US return stating you earned the money in canada and paid the tax on it there.

How would you declare your income if Ibill/CCbill never sent you your t4 slip in Canada... would the IRS believe what you if you only have those cheques receipts to prove it to them? or better yet fuck the tax....

if they audited u, they'd go after your banking statements. thats really the only way. no site will send out a t4 anyways because u don't work for the site, u work for yourself.
