i'm movein to Germany.. need to know some things

okay guys on a serious note, this is the trashman, and i swear i ddint come here to start up any trash with anybody, but there is something i need to know,first off let me say this, as of feb. 25th.2006 i'll be movin outta' america and to Gremany, now i have never been there in my life. but now i have a chance to go since my girl friend has a home there and she beggin me to come and stay with her. she also wanst to get married and the whole works, so i decide to move, but heres my question, since i have a porn site, can i still run my site from germany once im there, i was told that there is no porn in germany and that i stand a chance of going to jail if i run my porn site from germany.. how true is this, and another question is, does anybody here on this board know anything about Germany, im movin to a place called aalen, germany, not far from frankford. this is a BIG move for me and i just wanna know what im gettin mys elf into here. please help a brother out with some info. on me being in germany and still running my porn site from there, and by the way, i have 2 hosting compnays, one is in amaerica and the other is loctaed in london. ooh yeah heres a few pics of my soon to be bride...

maybe you see german sites, but the sites are not based in germany or the companies running them are outside of this shithole country.

running porn sites, when you are located in germany is impossible.
2257 is a fucking joke compared to the rules in germany.

the post office has to identify every potential customer face-to-face before you are allowed to show porn to him (authentification via an usb-dongle).
this way is the only way to make sure no minors can access your site, now you can guess for yourself how many potential customers will use that method, and how many will just go to another porn site, not based in germany with none of those bullshit restrictions.

it matters where the person running it is located...

damm the laws seems to be silly ass fuck.. but that was my plan to keep it based in america and just run it from germany, not that anybody has to know, my only problem is: the content, since im in need of fresh content every dam week, finding content is gonna be hard ass hell in germany. looks like ima have to go tpg and still base it from germany.tahnks for that info.

Its not harder to find content in germany than it is in the US. The one has nothing to do with the other.

There simply are a lot of laws protecting minors in germany. Many of the german sites are run by companies located outside of germany, sometimes the owners still live in germany though. This is of course all a gray area really, but normally I would expect that the german law enforcement will first look for germany based companies before it goes after foreign ones which might have people living in germany.

But its really a gamble.

If you are leaving the States to move to europe you need to do some more research about your future life there if you are still asking basic questions. I did the tranition but it took a long time to start feeling like this was my home and that was with a shared language. Follow your heart but make sure it is where you want to live before cutting your ties.

Oh and you still have to pay American taxes.

Lots of people (webmasters) escape from germany and you want to move there ? I am born in Germany and my advice is: DON´T DO IT !!!
You will have no problem with the law, just host your sites outside germany and don´t start a company with the subject: I DO PORN !!!!! There are lots of webmasters in germany running porn sites so don´t believe every bullshit....there is a big market and one of the biggest in europe but are you sure you want to move there ???? Move to switzerland...that´s ok and also kind of german but stay away from germany....this country is fucking sick and all they want is 50% of your income !!!
