Paysite owners...

How many FAILD REBILLS do you have per month? I just want to know the % and not the actual number...

If you have 100 scheduled rebills per month, how many will fail?

Yes this is crucial for us. This month we have had 14% faild rebills. I would like to know if this is high or low or what... We use CCBill by the way...

I don't expect big program owners to post the numbers because it could deter affiliates from signing up for their programs.

I am just surprised I have never heard any affiliates ask this question.

"Card was declined" according to CCBIll. But who knows what it really means.

But why would it be declined if it passed first time? I have asked ccbill 10 times and I can't get a straight answer...

Interesting. You ask a question, you get some pretty big program owners to reply and then you say you don't expect big program owners to post numbers. Do you think AndreJ and myself are little 2 signups a day guys?

No, both you and Andrej are big players. You posted after I made that comment and I didn't even see Andrej's post.

I really didn't expect ANY program owners (not just the big one) to reply and I really appreciate all replies.

I made this thread just see if my own numbers are high.

Contact ccbill and ask why we are <10% and you are >15%. They might be able to give you interesting info. You never know.

I used to run into this alot, and what we figured is that they are using a debit card and the account may possibly be too low for the rebill to go thru. Some poor sap didn't have $20 in his bank account to cover the cost of the rebill. Also, some banks where the cards are being held decline them, the customer doesn't know. The banks sometimes will do this on their own, not all, but some will. OR, we have also seen where the accounts have been closed before the rebill comes up due. There are many different scenarios for this issue. OR, and I have even seen this, a husband bills it, and the wife calls her bank and makes them stop taking charges from this nasty porn site. This is probably why they didn't answer you, because there are so many scenarios to cause a failed rebill.

I don't mean to seem like a know it all on this, but I went thru the same thing and I had a great rep there, so he answered all of my silly ass questions. Same thing with Paycom, if you get a good rep, hang onto them for dear life. ;)

With the company I work for now, the rebills have been very strong since late October and we are having record rebills and recurring in general. I don't have this information because I don't have access to that, but I do know they have drastically increased since we have started rebuilding members areas.
