    WTF Games run like shit just got a new computer

    Pentium D 820 2 x 1MB L2 Cache, 2 x 512MB DDR2 Dual Channel, 250GB SATA, ATI Radeon x800 Pro

    Games are running like shit, I ran 3dMark05 and my score like 4500 something... shitty FPS... under 30FPS - games run like crap.


    WTF is wrong? Drivers are newest from ATI's site.

                                                      You guys are joking right? This is an ATI Radeon x800 Pro - it cost $300, its not the video card.

                                                      I have another system running an x700 Pro and it runs better than this

                                                          An ATI x800 = ~$200-250

                                                          Turn down the graphics settings, you've probably got them set far too high for what your pc can handle. A 3dmark score of 4500 is quite low for todays specs, you need to be running your games at about 800x600x32 - Medium/Possibly High

                                                          Your ram could also be a bottleneck, BF2 requires 2gb+ of ram to run in high/ultra mode, and FEAR just rapes any computer.
