The wonder of the porn industry

I had a plan not long ago. I wanted to make the best porn ever for the internet and thus I did. Spending shitload of money and making the best content ever that an affiliate program could ever give its users. By the book 100%, with the best tits in the galaxy and the best movie crew known to man.
After talking to well.....90% of the affiliate programs noone went "WHOA DUDE give us this content". Actually most wouldn take it (not negatively ment to anyone here, just a statement) due to different things that now and then comes into a company. Yet I am amazed that the content I had up for presentantion didnt shock anyone, even if it was presented by some vetarans to other vetarans in this biz and thinking its quality and tit factor is nothing less than wonderfull (no bragging, just a statement with the rightfull glasses).
First of I wanted to charge the 2000$ per scene that would barely cover the costs for all the 30 scenes, now I am down to offer it all for 650$ each scene (thats low for this) and still, noone is amazed by it. So...what is wrong with you people? I am giving this on a silver platter for nothing LOL

I opened a few of the "samples" and there were a couple of things I noticed right away. DEAD silence, no dialog, other then the few camera clicks i hear nothing untill the action begins a few minutes into the scene.

Your models look good, Europeans I assume, I also assume you instructed them to keep dialog to a minimum in order to market this to English speaking countries. The editing is "ok" but not "WOW". I like the locations you picked and it brings some flavor to the scenes.

In my honest opinion I think this should be on the DVD market and it should do really well there. Most successfull internet sites are "reality" based and they have a "theme" there is no theme to your scenes as far as I could find.

I would re-edit these scenes and make 5 x 6 scenes, 5 DVD's out of it in a classy line. Put some high quality box designs with it and you have a top notch product. It does look really good, I just don't think it is the kind of web material sponsors are looking for.

You can always try and build your own site out of those scenes and sell DVD rights. Just my

The editing is just the first phased editing. The high end editing is still in construction with filters and all the stuff in it to flavor its beuty up.
Yeah true, no dialog, this is dead silence loving, nothing but pure fantasy and moaning, isnt that good? Do you guys really want some lame ass girl saying "look mom I got semen between my teeth" ?

What we want shouldn't matter as much as what the surfer wants. A girl saying "mom look at me I just got a facial" seems to sell.. There is humor and sex, good combination for the web.

That is why I said that I think your stuff will do really well in the DVD market.
I was not cracking down on your stuff you asked for an opinion as to why it doesn't sell. Then you come with a defense saying girls saying lines are lame.

I see what you guys are "going for" with these scenes. Trying hard to look "high quality". The girls are hot, that is for sure. But the way it is shot is just boring and shows whoever was in charge was a total amateur trying to something he is not.

Next time hire someone who has a clue before you spend all that money on talent and locations.

Well, spending the money on all the areas, and then not getting the turnovers due to certain weaknesses is in the very least a step in the right direction.

Don't try to be clever when you have limited experience, because you're up against guys with 15 years in the business who know what to do.

The idea that the DVD and Internet market are different is crazy, the difference is the delvery and little else. They do do reality on DVD, go look in the local Sex Shop.

Paul, I never disagreed with you, yet I never agreed with you. Why? Well because I already see some results from this in the market that I have been for a long time now, the DVD market. I already have good turnover and steady releases here.
I blame the internet thing right now on timing, nothing but timing where lots of the affiliate programs had taken the material they neded and couldn take more.
