				Internet Browser help.
			 
			Why is it when i open IE, the page doesn't load right away.. its pauses for a few seconds, and it says "detecting proxy settings" on the bottem.. Then loads the page... SHould i just get Opera or something else? Can anyone help?

		 Open your browser, click on Tools at the top, click on the Connections tab. In the white box called Dial-Up and Virtual Private Network settings, what's in there? Mine has nothing. 
		
	
		
		
		
		
		
	
	On a sidenote, you should try out Firefox. I was using Netscape/MSIE for years and don't use them at all anymore. Firefox is way faster, more safe, and is actually pretty stable and bug free. I have no problems using it compared to MSIE and Netscape, which is now a bloated slug. ![]()  |
