Yeah, it's a biz question but what do you think is better?

3 sites each with 10,000 uniques a day.
OR
30 sites with 1,000 uniques a day.

Assume all pretty much the same topic and programs with the manual labor done by the actual webmaster...that would be me,

, instead of outsourcing or automating...

I'm with Juicy on this one.

But to answer your question, if the traffic sources are different, I would take the larger number of lower traffic sites.
