the name given to the December 26th public holiday, which was synonymous with the boxing and exchanging of gifts that would normally occur on this day by the slaves
i guess its the same as with thanks giving day with the yanks , just one of those traditions that doesn't carry over here in australia , the only celebrations we have on boxing day is the cricket , and stocktake sales |
