From today's blog entry:

Hello again, constant reader. I've neglected you a bit as of late.

Today I turn 32 years old. This doesn't depress me. It doesn't make me happy. It just... IS. I'm a 32 year old father of 1. A fiancee. An ex-husband. A pornographer.

I'm okay with my all of this.

A NEW HOME

I am very happy today. I'm in a new house. Belinda and I purchased it together. She's in spot #1 on the contract and I am the co-signer. I already own one home, but after filing bankruptcy 3 years ago I didn't know how long it would be before I could buy another. At least not one that we'd want to live in. All the homes we liked were in the half-million dollar area and above. And one look at my credit score after that bankruptcy was all that was needed to see that no lending agency would touch me. Amazingly enough, scores rebound quite quickly. I have a long history with credit agencies, and before the bankruptcy I had great credit. Maybe that had something to do with it. I dunno.

THE FUTURE OF MY WEBSITES

The sites have done well. They've gone from nothing at all when I started them in October of 2001 to 6 figures per year in sales. Not bad. But still not as good as I'd hoped. I wanted to be at 7 figures per year by now. But I've learned that I'm better at recruiting and photographing models than I am at marketing websites. For that reason I'm going to hint to you that things will soon be changing with my sites. Let the guys who know what they're doing handle the marketing, know what I mean? I'll stick to producing the content.

And that will also allow me to focus more on this blog. I love this blog. I love sharing stories with you, constant reader. I love the feedback via comments and email that result. And I love the way search engines love this thing. Google has given this blog a PR5 ranking. I'm pretty happy with that. And I know that with the proper attention it can go higher.

THE FUTURE OF MY WEBSITES

Christmas is in two days and my son will be spoiled once again. His friend and next door neighbor, however, will not be. The friend's mother is a single mom with 4 kids who had a great life until her husband started abusing her and was deservedly sentenced to several years in jail. His family suffers in numerous ways. But this is Christmas and I'm very saddended that each of those 4 children will only have one present under their tree, and that was provided by local firefighters. So today I'm going to Toys-R-Us and shopping for twin 3 year old girls, a 6 year old boy, and an 11 year old girl. And I'm going to set them in a bag on her back porch, knock, and run. And I encourage each of you who can do so to buy for a child in need.
