I got a new server and port 53 is blocked? wtf?

I got a new windows server and port 53 is blocked on it some how

Ive tried look at the firewall (and opened it) and looked at the tcp/ip

Still won't respond on that port for some reason.

Anyone got any ideas?

I am almost thinking its blocked at the router for some strange reason.

It can be a wrong firewall rule or maybe you should try to set the port also open for UDP

If I had a windows server on my network I'd be blocking every second port too.
