Just reading this thread only reinforces the reason why I don't and never will use any outsorcing company. No other way to say it but the majority are ALL shit in my books. Just look how these guys conduct themselves and they want us to consider investing dollars and trust into them. I think not.

The best outsourcing to me is going to the local community college and post an ad.

I like them for the following reasons:

1) They bust their ass because they want to prove themselves and more importantly they enjoy what they do.

2) They speak english and have above average communicatin skills.

3) You can get them for a fraction of the cost because they are part time and understand they are getting a foot in the door.

The rest of the world will pass you by, using cheap labor to take a competitive advantage to delivery to your clients... service is what business is about and rather than training and investing you local people "Americans" to use outsourcing and develop skills to do that and progress you are keeping them at the same level, which means job losses that are inevitable just because you want to stay where you are right now is a bad long term solution.

Use outsourcing for what it is good for and invest in your locals to use outsourcing without losing jobs locally, that means you can delivery more products or services and I'm sure you would buy a faster printer, scanner or PC to make your business more efficient and even if those products are not maid in the USA, but adding staffing from another country you are against?

OUTSOURCING is here to stay, like it or not, go with the flow.
I wonder how many products Like NIKE people buy and only want AMERICAN...

What about the town they china they called USA, just so they could say it was made in America.

How is that a competitive product you have?

The products I see from outsourced companies in this industry (which is what we are talking about) is completely inferior to what the local community college kid or self taught person produces.

It also takes less time for my kid to produce what I am looking for because he is 5 steps away from me plus there is no lack in communication or understanding what I am looking for.

I can pretty much guarantee the world will not pass me by in this industry using cheap labor. Cheap labor in this industry is what it is. CHEAP and inferior.

I think you are missing my point here. Sure it works for the companies who are also willing to live in these Asian countries. It works because they are able to pick and choose the cream of the crop for their own company. Plus they work side by side with those employees. The rest who didn't make the cut are put on a list for companies back in the states or elsewhere.

I have tried outsourcing and it was a fucking nightmare. I wasted more time trying to get my point across and not once did I ever have a final project I could even use.

I don't think it's an either/or equation. I use Pro Adult as well as young guys locally i can stand over and make sure work is getting done.. It's task based really.. something I want a lot of control over/lots of finessing with a high degree of subjectivty as to it's quality, I do it inhouse. You want brute force with a degree of autonomy? outsource.
