        i was on vacation in PB, close to their office, when ron told me that they had closed down...it was astonishing, i heard the complete story from Jeff a few years ago and it is an amazing amazing tale

            They weren't around for 5 years. I may be exaggerating a bit but his rapid growth occured within one year.

                I was in shock when I read it. About 1-2 months earlier I started popping up a entry console to one of Brad's site with b-a loading in the background from one of my 'misspells'. The popup to Brad alone generated $30k a month if I remember correctly.. On top of that was the b-a signups..

                    I'm surprised there aren't a ton of pissed off people. Losing $15k-$30k per month overnight for almost any reason would be really upsetting. Why didn't he sell the site?
