Anyone ever have problems with NVIDIA cards + LCD screens?
I have kind of a strange problem. Whenever I boot up my computer Half the screen is missing (the start button will be in the middle of the screen and the display gets cut off @ the top of the screen thus half the screen is missing)
It seems to fix this. Every time I boot up my computer, or restart windows I have to unplug my monitor for a few minutes so that it syncs up properly.. How fucking stupid is that? lol |

- Make sure you have up to date drivers installed for your card
- Make sure your refresh rate is supported by BOTH your monitor and card - Make sure your monitor is set at the native resolution Also I'm not sure I'm reading your post correctly (the start buttom is at the middle, black below, and the display stops at the top of the screen?) but you may want to try using your monitors shift function to move the display down to the bottom.

Also, you might want to try using a digital input as opposed to analog if your card and monitor support it.

I have a 19" Dell 1905F LCD + Nvidia GeForce 6600 GT w/ 128MB DDR + Windows XP SP2 and I've *never* had a problem. I'm using the DVI rather then VGA port on the card + native resolution @ 1280x1024 @ 60hz.

6800 GT + dual screen BENQ FP91G+ 19"'s with no problems.

I did however buy a bunch of Radeon 9600 + 19" CMVs (non brand name LCDs) systems for the guys in the office here and i got a lot of vertical artifacts in them before i did what i should have done in the first place and replaced them with Radeon x800's.
