just upgraded from dual to triple a couple days ago .. I did it with 1 dual head AGP and a second dual head PCI .. good for the most part so far except that
I'm having issues with not being able to maximize certain applications sometimes tho, and its driving me insane ..... I end up having to force everything shut ...
anyone have any clue why this could be happening ??Comment

from what I've read its best to get another one that will operate on the same drivers.. perferably same chipset if possible ... also when you install it physically apparently the best pci slot is 2 away from the agp .. mine did not work on the first slot, but did on the second ..Originally posted by Abyss_Veei have 1 gforce 6800, what kind of pci u think i should get so the 3rd monitor will work perfectly?Comment

Yes it can work with 1 AGP and 1 PCI card, although whether it'll work with 1 PCI-e and 1 AGP i'm not 100% sure of. To get all monitors working it's best to get the same brand graphics card, in the above i'm using 2x 7800 GeForce Ultra Extremes, with 4 DVI outputs in total.
If you dont fancy having 2 graphic card, you can always get a matrox video card, they have 3 outputs on 1 card, but I think you need a PCI-e board.Comment

I have the same issue sometimes, after getting Ultramon, it's not as severe but the windows just seem to disapear into oblivion, [they actually fly over to the '4th monitor' which just doesnt exist..] with ultramon you can force programs to move to a different monitor and its saved me so much time.Originally posted by nyanaI'm having issues with not being able to maximize certain applications sometimes tho, and its driving me insane .....
