FM created the game we all play in. He's definitely the first big paysite and affiliate program. No one has ever had the success he has seen and he did it years ago and his legacy remains strong today.

Many webmasters will tell you stories about how Ron got them started in this biz and gave them the advice they needed to take them over the top. Every time I've had discussions about this biz with Ron, I want to grab a pen and take notes.

If anyone were to ever be the first person to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award for this biz, it should be Ron.

For years, FM has been a major sponsor of the Players Ball and has invested more dollars into the Ball then any other sponsor. His support made the Players Ball what it is today and I'm very thankful for that. But that's not why he won this award, that's why he couldn't get this way award back then, it would have looked fixed.

So, much love to Ron the FantasyMan, he's made many dreams come true and help mold this industry into that it is today. It's appreciated.

I would agree with this award. Whether you love Ron or hate him, there's really no disputing that he's been an innovator and a major force in this business from the beginning as we know it. Were he not slightly controversial, depending on who you talk to, he wouldn't have done a damn thing to get noticed ;)

I gotta say that there has been a time or two that Ron and I have disagreed on some things, but nobody can over look his accomplishments in this business (and others, as well). The man is one of the most brilliant minds of this industry and is deserving of this award.
