I know martin is a big gallery whore, but seems like he is blaming nats for his lack of joins. I think with so many program using nats these days it just makes it easier to put them all in one group and say they suck. I can name 7 programs that use nats off the top of my head, I can't do that for any other affilate software.

well its an option for nats programs to NOT pay properly but imho thats the end of the program, if someone finds out or an ex rep posts, we had some simular shit bout a program not paying rebills remember... that didnt end nice for the owner as well..

That is one thing that sucks now. A lot of smaller programs are doign their own payouts, and you have to rely on them

I agree, but since Ive got no experience with huge checks on these smaller programs doing nats, how are they doing? whats payment on epass or check? I know bigger ones are like 3-5 days max on epass after the 15 or 30 days period.

Here's a tip for ya... Put your link code on your links to the sites.

Tip #2: Dont expect any signups til you get at least 10 or so visitors to your site.

We've had affiliates write to our support asking for help with converting a particular site. Not everyone has a handle on bukkake, for instance, or Britney, the cutie hottie from cumtrainer.com.....we're here to help.

I can understand your frustration, Martin....my first inclination is to always hold responsible the Universe, the billing company..yeah, even NATS...so convenient not to look at my own sales tactics...

Using myself as an example, I'm supposed to be an 'expert' on niches and fetishes...yet, I couldn't sell a lesbian or Asian program to save my life. Tragic, but true.

You've been around for a while, Martin...if it's a NATS issue, John and the guys will help. If it is a sponsor issue, write to them and ask for help...if it's you, then that's something to deal with, too....

There is also the issue of traffic generation. I know I've fallen into the trap of thinking of traffic in terms of clicks, when, in reality, they are real people....so filtering is essential...know thy traffic is a key ingredient when pre selling a sponsor site. For some, ugly galleries and free sites works great. For others, they want elegant and clean.

I am by no means an expert, although I've been around long enough to know what doesn't work for my traffic....the trick is finding out what does work and then concentrating on that. There is much in the way of experimentation....not many understand the notion that what we do is unlike any other. We cannot see our traffic.

There are some truisms; but, ain't nuthin' carved in stone....:)
