Dreamhost has a 1-click wordpress install option, so you can have a new blog with just 1 click.

Fake TGPs don't take a lot of work. (TGP Rotater)

Real TGPs (that accept submitted galleries) take more work because you have to review galleries.

Blogs take some time cuz you have to write some text.

Blogs get more search engine traffic.

Blog traffic converts better.

i run both
tgps are volume traffic wise
blogs are se traffic wise

Blog are cheaper but takes a bit more work, although managing a big tgp also takes a lot of time.
Blogs in general convert better, it of course also depends on your traffic quality.

You should look at mixing your traffic sources, so I'd opt for both.

you wont hear many people say tgp's are where the money's at. how can you expect to make anything by giving away the stuff for free.
