What are your tips for easing a flu? Breaking fever?
What are your tips for getting over the flu, or even easing the symptoms? I have always believed that a fever was good and that breaking it was counter-productive. However, people do it all the time. Does it work? I know when I had a bad 24 hour stomach virus, breaking the fever made everything better. What are your other tips?

				 | Echinacea, Zinc, Vitamin C (up to 5000 mgs per day), Tylenol Flu and plenty of liquids.. Something with Electrolites... gatorade or other sports drinks are good... Good Ol Chicken Noodle soup works wonders.. as I doubt your whitebread ass will pull yourself up at a steamy bowl of Menudo... but if you got the Latin pallet and can handle Menudo... it does wonders... | Thank You Big B. Juicy, I will be there. I am doing Yoga now, I go into a facial around 4, meet with my fashion consultant around 5:15; this should make me fashionably 15 minutes late.

				 | As a kid, my Mom always gave me her homemade cough syrup make from rock candy, rye whisky and citrus that has aged for at least 30 days. It was killer: I felt better and the cough went away. Now days, I make sure to get a flu shot every year; but, I still miss Mom's cough syrup. |

				 | A red hot bath - the reason your body increases temp when you have an infection is because most germs dont like the higher heat - 'sweating it out' really does work for that reason. Tamiflu is good if you can get it. Note: I own TamifluRX.com BTW if anyone is interested in a new domain. |

				 | Airborne works if you can take it when you first start feeling crappy. Nip that flu in the bud. Eat two to three small oranges every day and you will fiind that you never get colds or Hemorrhoids. (Ancient Chineese secret). Anytime I've had the flu and had to be out, Jack Daniels. Also Bitters will help a lot. |
