I love idiots stuck in snow

Watching morons behind the wheel get themselves stuck in snow is a great winter sport round these parts. Just finished watching my asshat neighbour attempt to get his shitbox BMW unstuck from the foot of his driveway (that he's too lazy to shovel).

The best is when they crank the wheel while flooring the gas and spinning the rear tires on sheer ice.

    Burn clutch, burn.

I agree SilentKnight, the entertainment runs strong on snowy days up here in Northern Ontario.

I could sit in my window and watch the fools all day long.

It's funny thats why both of my vehicles are 4x4. Growing up my buddies and I used to make money taking out trucks out on days we got a couple inches of snow and made money pulling people out of the ditches. $25 for us or $50+ from the tow truck company, people usually picked us. We would pull down about $300-500 a night driving up and down the freeways.

Well, if it were any other neighbour...normally I'd throw on the boots and go help'em get unstuck. But this particular neighbour's been a genuine fucktard since movin' in a few years back. So fuck'em.

He's still stuck out there, lol. I can hear him racin' the motor from here in the office.

People in Seattle are like that too. They freak out when it snows and wreck.

6 wheel drive with a V-10 is the only way to roll in the snow

This is what I drive in the winter. My wife drives our 2006 Honda Pilot which is 4x4 too. My truck could get through just about any amount of snow

Thanks I bought it partially restored, its a 1992. Still more work to do on it, but I am getting there. Exterior is all done, interior is what is being worked on now. The truck had a good stereo system in it (pioneer stereo, kenwood amps, jvc subs), I fixed some of the problems with it and am redoing some wiring and have had to fix some suspension/drivetrain issues, but the truck runs like a champ.

Looks nice, paid cash for it so its paid off, and insurance is dirt cheap on it

In Minnesota our 16 year olds can drive better in snow than most adults anywhere else.... it's just not that COMPLICATED!

Back in my teens we lived near Lake Simcoe (hour north of Toronto) and I grew up drivin' on the lake a lot in winter. Best way to learn handling and control in a skid.

Sadly, in Ontario people aren't required by law to do any sort of testing on ice for their driver's license, despite the fact we're locked in winter for 2/3rds of the year. Seems rather ridiculous. They grant licenses to people who have no clue how to properly drive in slippery conditions and then send them out on major highways to wreak havoc.

Insurance companies should offer some sort of discount or rebate for drivers who take some sort of winter driving course.

Driving is something that a lot of people don't understand. It's more than just putting the key in and stepping on the gas. Each vehicle has a dynamic of it's own. You can feel the road and should be able to understand the physics of your car. You should be able to understand these dynamics and use them to your advantage.

Most people have no idea how to handle their car in adverse conditions such as snow, rain, sleet, mud, etc.
You deserve to make more money. I'll help you do that.
