My post of Toal Bullshit was not done as a PR move; it was stating a fact. I read the post, checked the logs of load transactions and saw that at 5:59 a.m. PST that day there was a load on Chase. We also had Bank One loads earlier.

So I won't debate this, it is a fact that people are able to load with these cards, although I do not know if certain Chase or Bank One BIN's might block account funding transactions.

What really disturbes me is the anger with which people post, and the same people, all the time. Maybe you guys need to launch (or you are?) your own prodcut.

Once again, we value our clients and this industry. We are solid in all respects and not going anywhere.

If anyone has had or has a problem loading becasue of the issues discussed here, email me your card number and I will look into it. We want everyone to be able to use their cards.

To recap: We are fine with all banks to my knowledge. If not, please email me.

I am off line again until Monday...

can we assume that ePassporte will be working with the banks affected to rectifiy the loading issue?

Yes. I would like to start with your card. Please email me at [email protected] with the first 12 digits of your card that was declined and your telephone number. I will have the logs pulled for your attempts and work through that with the bank in the morning. Anyone else that has been declined for the same reasons as Easton, please do the same.

We want every bank in the world to accept our load transactions, all the time. I would guess that 99.5% of the cards out there will go through. When anyone finds these banks declining us, please email me. It will help ePassporte and you as a cardholder. And for the record, we have extremely low fraud on our card, our Risk Team is great. But some banks have had issues with their data, cardholders or us for a variety of reasons. However, after millions and millions of loads, we are solid, well thought of as a Visa product and safe. So when a bank declines us, we need to know specifics to fix that bank's problems.

The part that confuses me here is that most of these large banks use one processing center with one set of rules. Usually a decline is card specific, or BIN (the first 6 digits of your card is the BIN) specific only when the cardholder has had problems (with the bank or the bank with their cardholder) or if the bank's data on that BIN has been the subject of inquiry by their Risk department.

I am sorry if my post "Bullshit" was too harsh. However, I was reacting to the post, which stated as fact that 2 of the largest banks in the USA were blocking ePassporte. I stand behind the post as an answer, yet I regret the use of the term.

Hopefully when posting here we could all be more clear in stating things. After all, we are all in an Industry that has to stick together. It has always been like that, but now, more than ever, we have to be a "community" and these forums are really designed to help each other, not trash each other. I for one will keep that in mind during my posts.

Easton, if it is OK with you I will post the results of our investigation on this issue related to your card. LMK in the email please.

:thumbsup :thumbsup that was a much better response..

Just to clarify i think why people got heated was because the part you quoted "bullshit" was not bullshit.. the thread title was bullshit, but that didnt get included in your quote/post. His post was just to see if others were having the same problem ( hence the quesion mark ). The thread title was the part that was incorrect..

no ones acting jealous of him, they're flat out telling him his service sucks! And rightfully so, Maybe if you took your nose out of his ass you would see everyday there are different people complaining about epassporte and their fuckups. :1orglaugh

Chris- Thanks for the real reply man! That's all I really wanted to hear :)

After spending more time on the phone with Bank of America, I now believe that the problem was actually solely their fault, and had nothing to do with them blocking Epassporte. This morning I successfully added funds to my account using my BofA card :thumbsup

Easton, hope you have the same kind of luck with Chase.
