Well - lets see some of those ranking increases - cause you still arent in Google for sweet latina ass - and all of your blog pages are listed as supplemental results which means they know youre spamming - Doesnt sound like it helps rankings one bit??

ssp 12-16-2005 11:31 AM

OK I'm taking it to the test, let's see if you're right. I will post the results in two days.

ssp 12-16-2005 11:41 AM

OK, I created a new blogger account and pointed it to my own domain.
I created a new MyYahoo account and pasted the .xml rss feed in it.

Let's see if we get spidered before tuesday next week.

Hey Nettrust,

Where is the option in Blogger to get their search bar off the top of the page. Can I do this in edit Template, or did you do it by hand in your local files?

Thanks!

You need a PR4+ site to do so :)

kektex 12-16-2005 02:30 PM

About 3 months ago I started some blogs on blogger.I posted something every other day to them and did the yahoo RSS thing.
I got some pretty good positions on google and first position on Yahoo for a few terms. One of them was the name of a single girl site.
The SE traffic was pretty sweet and it took me less than 2 months to get it.Plus 3 of the blogs got PR2 real quick.
I read a thread on another board from a guy that had like 500 blogger blogs and was making close to $1K per day from them just for the SE traffic.Lots of hard work but thats a nice amount of money dont you think? I think blogger closed them down though.
Some of my listings have dropped off now since I didn`t update some of the blogs anymore but I still get tsome good yahoo traffic for the single girl blog.My blogs dont get closed because I do not post nude pictures on them and have a good amount of text .
I am now experimenting on my own domain. The domain is less than 2 months old and already has a bunch of google listings.

beemk 12-16-2005 05:45 PM

you guys dont realize how much authority blogger has compared to some domain you just registered. a few ads isnt shit. anyone that knows anything about seo will agree with me.

Yep thats the thing. The fact that you are the subdomain of a PR10 can`t hurt.

you would not be listed on google if this domain is registered soon, because it has to pass google's sandbox. but you would be definitely spidered. you might see this in your web logs...

i would list one more tip tomorrow...
every day would be new one, so all of us could improve our SEO skills... :D

It's been less than 24 hours and I have not been spidered yet. We'll give it some time. The domain is indeed new.

which way did you see this? logs? spiders would definitely visit the site soon.
do not expect to get listed on google if you are still in the sandbox... :)

:thumbsup

Choose a subdomain with the keywords you want to target, create 5 to 6 log entries with the right keyword density, submit them to 5 or more blog directories and your blog will appear on the first page at google in 1 or 2 days.
Of course you can't do this for a frequently used keyword.
I did this once for "nubile dina":
http://nubile-girl-dina.thumblogger.com/
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...=Google+Search
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...&btnG=Sear ch
Was listed position 4th on first day, went to position 1 next day.

But it's not as easy as it sounds, you need to make not spammy blog entries, otherwise google will kick you.

hey!!! I shot that!!

What the fuck do you know about a sandbox? And why do you insist on putting out wrong/bullshit information that youve read somewhere else? If
you want to be an SEO go do some research before handing out false tips and misleading people that might not know any better

i cannot believe this... i was wondering that you are not tired to ruin other's business and to piss on and flame everyone here... hehe, hater! :D

ok, i know nothing about the sandbox?! how would you know if your site is still in it? post this info here, so we would all know about your seo skills...

let me tell you this: i've got banned by yahoo 3 days ago because i linked the site that was shut down. i was at the #2 place for the keyword 'latina ass' and i was banned for this keyword. as you like to say 'missed in action'...

i deleted that link, put a new post on the blog, pinged it using pingomatic and guess what: after less than 8 hours (i'm totally sure about the time, because pingomatic was not working today, but it started working tonight), i was at the place #16. this site's position would improve and i wouldn't be surprised if i hit the 1st position in couple of days (it was on the 2nd place)... (the same thing drasticaly improved my ranking two weeks ago, from #11 position to #2!)

so, you say wrong info?! well, ok... :thumbsup

it's not all about my site, this site is only an experiment anyway.

btw, i would really like to see your agruments posted here...

First off - Im not a hater - I really support anyone that tries to help out others with good solid SE advice - Ive been doing it for years and always for free (well some people that Ive helped do send traffic as a way or thanking me).

I can tell you that no matter what you read elsewhere - or even here - there is no sandbox at Google (other than the one they call the sandbox which is their keyword generator for AdWords) As a matter of fact Google was amazed to hear hundreds of people talking about something that didnt exist.
Now to explain as best as I can what people do really see that they call the sandbox - if you buy a domain that has ever been owned before - Google does let it sit for a while to make sure that any backlinks that previously existed dont count towards the new owners site - this does NOT apply to sites that you buy while they are still active - only expired domains.
It was instituted by Google 2 years ago to combat a growing group of SEOs that were buying expired DMOZ, Google and Yahoo domains that still had lots of backlinks and then changing up the domain to be something completely different (but still get the benefit of existing backlinks).
You will see in loads of "SEO" software and domain trackers the use of looking at these backlinks for domain hunters as a tool.

In addition to putting a filter (thats Google's term for little additions to the algo) on these expiring domains, Google has also become a ICANN registrar recently to have full access to the domain database for this purpose instead of hitting whois.sc constantly.

To provide an example of proof - and no Im not going to give you the domain name - I registered a domain that I knew was clean - never registered, placed a site on it about 2 weeks later, and then put one link to it from another site I own. The next day it was indexed and the following day it was listed in the SERPs at #14 out of 1,560,000 results. This all happened about 2 weeks ago. Today it is #8 and I expect to add 2 more links to it to get it to #1.

As far as my SEO skills - I have no idea how I rate in the grand scheme of things - I know I have sites that have easily 65,000 terms that are searched for every month and some of them tend to be rather competitive terms - and articles I used to write for adult WM resources ages ago seemed to be published - you make your own decisions though :)

that was probably my misinterpretation, because most of my domains were already registered before (it was not my intention to look for this!). I usually buy a domain, put something on it, let it be spidered, and usually when i have some time, i start working on it...

sorry for this, i haven't ment to call you hater or insult you in any way! can you please contact me on ICQ#: 53667259.

thanks for your contribution here!
