				Alienware laptops....shit?
Anyone have one, i got a sentia 233, paid a assload for it, and i have had to replace the motherboard twice now!!... I do not recommend dealing with them, their support IMHO is as bad, if not worse than dell/aohell support, third world style. I am at a standstill now, they want 305 to replace the damn motherboard for a 3500 laptop!!...pathetic, anyone else had problems, do i have any recourse, outside of warranty to get out of my contract to buy this piece of shit if it doesn't work?...thanks

				 | They make pretty desktops for rich kids, at least that's what I've always figured when I saw their ads. If they want that for the mobo and it's not under warranty then you really don't have a choice. Honestly, 305 for a notebook mobo doesn't sound bad what sounds bad is that you're already out of warranty. when did you buy it? Brad

				 | it is a year and 4 monthes but is barely used, i am telling you, and i had to send it off 2 weeks before my warranty ended to have the MOBO replaced already!...that is why i am mad, making 125$/mnth payments for something that doesnt work?...heh

				 | When it comes to laptops, I only suggest either Sony Vaio or Dell Latitude (the business series) and always with an extended warranty. The fundamental problem with the idea of an Alienware notebook, as I see it, is that they're trying to give it desktop power. I just looked at their website, they're using desktop processors and not the mobile editions. Fuck, have you seen how hot the latest procs get?! Brad

				 | Alienware was just rebadged Sager with a higher price; they're still overpriced toys for people with more money than brains - but hey, if you've got it, flaunt it. |
