I havent been able to make the Players Ball since 2004, due to my continued health problems and im pretty sure that i wont be able to make it for this January...

let me say though, that I am very grateful to my friends in the Adult Community and its very special to be acknowleged in this way...this was really unexpected...but deeply appreciated :)

Shemp, you should have had this award years ago, sorry it took this long to give you the props you deserve for what you do for this community. I truly regret we didn't honor you back in 2004 or earlier so you could be there to have that moment. I would love it if you could have someone accept this award for you and maybe write something for them to say.

Congrats again. I feel like I can run for President after making such a popular choice. Today, you've helped the Big Woody Awards have even more credibility to it.
