    Direct Deposit or Not?

    I noticed a lot of sponsors offering direct deposit. It certainly is convenient and I'd like to do it on most sponsors. My question is if there is any security concerns with someone having your routing and acct #. I'm not a bank guy so I don't know if I should be real picky with this or if the worst they could do is add money.

    Is there anything to be worried about?

      My impression, but I could be wrong, is that like credit cards, if some fraud occurs it's actually the banks responsibility or they'll get it from whatever bank withdrew the money b/c they didn't do their job on their end for verifying the transaction.

      I believe, the only times you get stuck with the bill is if they warn you about fraud and measures to take like opening a new account & you decline.

          i fuckin love direct deposits. they're faster and i dont have to leave the house to cash a check lol although, the $10 wire fees suck and do add up.

              I've never had any problems with wire transfers personally.
