Lisa Guerrero - Biography 2001

The Los Angeles Times recently called Lisa Guerrero ?the hardest working person in sports? for good reason. Her current gig as the update anchor for The Best Damn Sports Show Period? is only the most recent in a string of assignments for Fox Sports Net.
Over the last two years she's been an anchor and a reporter for the ?Regional Sports Report? in both the Southern California and Rocky Mountain regions.
Her exclusive interviews as the best reporter for the Lakers, the Dodgers, UCLA Basketball and USC Football have been critically acclaimed. In February, she landed back to back national exclusives with Gary Sheffield at Spring Training in Vero Beach, FL in the midst of a nasty contract dispute. A week later, Lisa interviewed Shaquille O'Neal during his media boycott and broke the news that he wouldn't participate in the 2001 NBA All-Star Game.



For this, she was cited in Sports Illustrated (2/26/01). This, however, was not the first time Lisa has appeared in SI. Since moving to Fox in late 1999, Lisa has been the reporter for ?Fox Overtime? and ?Fox Extra Innings?, the co-host of ?Sports Geniuses?, a ringside reporter for ?Toughman?, the co-host of the Laker's post season special, ?Can You Dig It?? and travelled to Egypt ?
